Owner & Managing Partner

Robin is the Owner and Managing Partner of Rensselaer Commercial Properties. She grew up learning her family's commercial real estate business and began to manage it upon her father's passing in 1974. In 1985, she formed the company in its current structure along with her husband, Michael. Robin holds an MA in Sociology from Montclair State University, an AA and BA in Urban Studies from Briarcliff College, and graduated from West Essex High School. She also completed an intensive course at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania for Women in Family Owned Business.

Michael Lahue

Michael P. Lahue

Owner & Managing Partner

Michael is the Owner and Managing Partner of Rensselaer Commercial Properties, along with his wife, Robin. He began working in building construction in 1973, and upon formation of the new company in 1985, he assumed a construction managment and land development role. Michael holds a BA in Environmental Studies from Montclair State University.

Christina PioCosta-Lahue

Christina commenced her role as CEO in January 2020. Over the years, she has held management roles in the US and abroad in the education sector, government advisory work, agribusiness, and real estate & urban planning. Christina holds a Master in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a BA in Growth and Structure of Cities from Haverford College, and a high school degree from Kent Place School.


Joann Canzona

Assistant Office Manager

Joann commenced her career at Rensselaer Commercial Properties in June 2006 as an Administrative Assistant and worked her way up into her current role. Prior to joining us, she had worked in administrative and sales roles for General Wallcoverings, DeCoster-Wilson Insurance Company, and in the catering industry. Joann graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in Montclair and pursued further education at Data Quest Systems in cooperation with Montclair State University.


Colleen Gabriel

Finance Officer

Colleen joined us in February 2019 as Finance Officer. She previously held roles as Corporate Accountant and as Assistant Treasury Manager before taking a break from the corporate experience to raise her family. During that time, Colleen contributed to her local community in a number or roles, including Co-President of the local HSA. Colleen holds a BS in Accounting from The University of Phoenix.


Lauren Levy

Administrative Assistant

Lauren assumed her role as Administrative Assistant in January 2020. Prior to joining us, she had experience in sales management for a nursery, plant biology research, and in the tour & travel industry. She was born and raised in Colorado, and after traveling and living in numerous states, she is happy to have settled with her family in New Jersey. Lauren holds a BS in Parks and Protected Area Management from Colorado State University and completed preparatory work for graduate school at Camden County College.
